Many rumours abound.

These supposed news stories come from UN sources, although this is yet to be verified. 1. The Grongo has been invaded by Tikada and Dogome, with an initial aerial blitzkrieg reminiscent of the Six-Day War. This was followed by a co-ordinated land attack by Dogome, Nidoue and Tikada with major assistance from Agogoland, Owakalik, Goudabalek and Zeebia.  2. After many months of aggression by East Mbazzohui, Jenkinesia and Kalemnitka have retaliated against East Mbazzohui 3. There have been a number of cross-border violations into Ahmnesia. It is understood to come from Wakanda and Umbongo, although there are suggestions Zeebia is also involved. Some correspondents have been able to acquire comments from a number of embassies: From Nidoue :  False Propaganda... NO Nidoulian troops have crossed any borders with orders from their leaders... Security Office of Nidoue will be looking into these falsehoods, and punishing anyone confirmed spreading these lies. From ...

“Dogome Believers” BETRAYED by Tarzanian offer of truce!

Dateline: North-western Mombuututu April 19 th 1980 – a VINE multimedia report. Background: Acting upon information received from a local source, a Dogome army platoon was sent to north west Mombuututu. The platoon chosen was the 3 rd from the 18 th Battalion of the 16 th Division – hereinafter cited as the 3 rd for this article. They were supported throughout by local militia. The source claimed that helicopters (coming from a northerly direction, 2 nights previously) had brought in troops to attack a Dogome army supply dump. This was duly completed and, in the course of this action, several of the attackers were killed or captured. The defending Dogome troops, by this means, established that the attacking troops were from the Grongo. The Grongo troops remaining, escaped towards Tarzania with 5 fuel trucks and 13 supply trucks in convoy. As the Grongo troops moved through north-western Mombuututu, the 3 rd (and local militia) trailed them and attacked where...

Nidoue military buildup

Reuters: Rumours of a Nidoue military buildup have been confirmed today with the release of these photos taken by our African correspondent. These photos clearly show armoured companies of Nidoue tanks conducting exercises on the country’s savannah plains. They appear to be coordinating with an as such unidentified militia force. The Nidoue military was contacted for comment but they declined to respond. At this stage it is unclear if these exercises are part of a larger Nidoue military operation or just part of the general increase of military activity in several countries in response to recent Grongo actions in Mombututto More to come....

GOOD FRIDAY GRONGO RAID

BREAKING NEWS Mercenaries, known as the "Wild Geese", have launched a daring raid into The Grongo and neutered its armoured force. The speed with which the raid was carried out was so fast that hardly a shot was fired. The haul of captured vehicles was astonishing. Tanks, tank transporters, trucks and various 4WD fell to the Wild Geese. Some of these vehicles will be taken back to Tarzania, allegedly, for further evaluation. Col. Allan Faulkner, officer commanding the Wild Geese, stated that The Grongo's growing belligerence towards their neighbours could no longer be countenanced by other countries in the region. Targets of this unlawful Grongoan air campaign have been Vlesadwassa and Dogome. It remains unclear who funded this raid against The Grongo. Photos courtesy of unknown source(s)

Dogome bears the brunt of the Grongo's bombing fury

The Grongo has unleashed another series of bombing raids against a number of targets in northern Vlesadwassa over the last 48 hours*. According to reports from Dogome (via Dogome Imagi-Africa Multi-Media), umpteen targets in Dogome have been hit by the Grongo bombers over the last 2 weeks. DIAMM has shown many pictures alleged to have come from the Grongo's bombing of Dogome's north. *Sourced from VINE Worldwide Broadcast  Below: A flight of bombers from the Grongo photographed heading to Dogome DIAMM has shown many pictures alleged to have come from the Grongo's bombing of Dogome's north.

UN General Troubled by Soviet Mercenaries in Imagi-Africa

Gen. Ugoji Kwemto, the newly appointed head of UN Imagi-Africa Command Gen. Ugoji Kwemto, the newly appointed head of UN Imagi-Africa Command, said Tuesday that the presence of Soviet mercenaries (in some countries they are termed 'advisors') in Mombuututu (and other neighbouring nations) is part of the effort by President Jaroslav Rasputin to regain influence for Moscow in the Sub-Sahara. "They concern me greatly," Kwemto said of the mercenaries from the shadowy organisation known as the "FingrVaggn Group," now operating Mombuututu, which has been mired in sectarian violence for some time. At a closed session of the UN Council for Imagi-Africa, Kwemto said that the Soviets were using the mercenaries "to guard the head of state there [Emperor Willie Mbaka]. They're using them to train some of the local armed forces." "Some of that could be benign; some of that is probably less than benign," he said in response to quest...

Willy Mbaka surrendered to Dogome troops!

Dogome infantry troops clearing a village in north-western Mombutuutu have had Willy Mbaka handed over to them. It is understood that he was led to the Dogome infantry, handcuffed, by 4 other men who were taken to be advisors or bodyguards. All surrendered and are being held in a local police station, awaiting transportation to Dogome. Dogome National Radio announced that the borders of Mombutuutu will be closed until further notice. This was expected in order to restore calm within the country. A similar move was made in Sahaelo. [A report courtesy of VINE.]

The 'Choir of 10000' extends their landholding to Umgawaland.

[A report from VINE – dateline: 26 th March] With the massed choir of at least 10000 Boomboxe s singing out the “anthem of Sa int Gerry of the Pacemakers”, the 'believers of Dogome' forged across the Okparo Jelaney River* and into the heartland of Mombutuutu. With little apparent opposition, their 'journey of conquest' through Mombutuutu was fairly uneventful. At the old border of Mobutuutu and Umgawaland, they were welcomed by the border troops of Umgawaland. *On most maps the Okparo Jelaney River is known as the Uzoma River and flows along the border of the Grongo and Tarzania, through western Tarzania, along the border of Sahaelo and Mombuututu, through western Mombuututu and onto Dogome.

The Grongo 'reconnaissance' aircraft bomb northern Sahaelo and Vlesadwassa.

In a statement believed to have originated from the Grongo's official news service, reconnaissance aircraft (from the Grongo) have overflown both Dogome-controlled northern Sahaelo and north-eastern Vlesadwassa. The statement implied that the reason for the reconnaissance was: that the borders of the Grongo have recently been threatened by external military forces and to determine the level of these threats no mention was made of any action likely to ensue from any threats indicated by this reconnaissance. The Dogome military has confirmed that a significant number of the Grongo aircraft were detected over northern Sahaelo and that many of these bombed border villages. The Vlesadwassan military also confirmed that many the Grongo aircraft overflew Vlesadwassan airspace and bombed several towns in in north-east Vlesadwassa. Air defences over Vlesadwassa are understood to have shot down at least 1 of the Grongo aircraft.

THE FALL OF MOMBUUTUTU

NEW CHOLMONDELEY TIMES With Dogome forces advancing unopposed, the fall of the government of "Big" Willie Mbaka is imminent. Mombuututu is in disarray. Refugees choke roads leading out of Mombuututu to Tarzania, Antadamofo and Wurmmpotato. The refuge crisis is amplified in Wurmmpotato where there is a lack of anything that may aid the desperate escapees from war torn Mombuututu. Allegedly, the U.N. is debating this situation. OUR PRESIDENT SPEAKS ABOUT MOMBUUTUTU The President of the Commonwealth of Umgawaland, Maj. Gen. Joshua Butulutu, has spoken briefly about the crisis gripping Mombuututu. He is quoted in saying "Those Soviet lackeys are responsible for their own downfall. Mbaka has been reckless with the governance of Mombuututu, concentrating more on having his ring kissed than worrying about the welfare of his country. Mbaka and his Soviet lackeys were very loud when they assumed that the going was good, but now they're going out with barely a whimper. G...

Sahaelo succumbs to Dogome believers.

After a sometimes bitter struggle, the army known colloquially as the “Dogome believer's” has overcome all internal opposition in Sahaelo and has effectively taken over political and military control of the eastern half of Sahaelo. With Tikada taking control of the western sector of Sahaelo, the country has, once again, returned to relative peace. Exact details will emerge in the coming weeks as to how Dogome and Tikada plan to handle the governance of their recent acquisition. The world media and, in fact, the United-ish Nations have remained almost silent since the beginning of the Dogome invasion. [A report courtesy of VINE.]
